What better way to celebrate the beginning of a new year than with a twelve-hour family event? Thousands of people will kick off the new year in Sarasota at the intersection of Main Street and Lemon Avenue. This New Year's Eve event will have plenty of things to do including will live music, games, and rides.
Enjoy the celebration from 1:30 p.m. on December 31 to 1:30 a.m. on January 1. Instead of the traditional ball, the New Year will ring in with true Florida style as the pineapple drops at midnight. You’ll be able to watch a wonderful fireworks display, a perfect conclusion to this New Year's Eve event in Sarasota.
Marina Jack is partnering with Suncoast Charities for Children to bring Sarasota a fantastic fireworks display for theeighth year. You’ll be able to see the fireworks anywhere in downtown with great views at Bayfront Park and Island Park. The display begins at midnight, and viewing is free.
Celebrate the start of the new year at Main Street Live in Downtown Bradenton. Old Main Street will be full of local vendors selling food, drinks, and crafts on New Year's Eve. Enjoy live music as you walk along the shops and restaurants. The party starts at 5 p.m. and ends at midnight, just in time to ring in the new year!
Beginning at 6 p.m., Fishermen's Village in Punta Gorda will host a free family-friendly New Year’s Eve Celebration. Complete with live music, there will also be magic shows, balloon creations, face painting, and more activities to make this a fun event for any age. Be at the west dock by midnight to see spectacular fireworks light the sky!
