If you’re looking for your local favorites with no fluffs or frills, Tamiami Tap is the place to go! Whether its Brunch, Lunch, Dinner or just stopping by for Happy Hour, you’ll be sure to find a classic on their menu that hits the spot everytime. Tamiami is located at 711 S. Osprey Ave. Sarasota, right on the edge of the Historic District and just a few blocks off of Downtown Sarasota! The creation of Tamiami Tap was meant to bring a coastal-casual environment right next to Downtown where locals and snowbirds could enjoy Tamiami’s impressive food and drink menu in a setting that makes them feel comfortable and relaxed at the same time.

The atmosphere at Tamiami differs from typical restaurants with their unique furniture settings as they created pockets of comfortable seating that you can kick back in with your Passion Fruit Margarita in hand. You won’t find the typical, lined up dining tables here and that’s what makes Tamiami Tap the ideal spot!

Not only is the atmosphere unique and inviting; Tamiami’s Happy Hour is six days of the week, ranging from Tuesday - Sunday, from 4 - 6 PM! You can find their domestic draft beers on special for $3, well cocktails for $5 and $2 off for all glass pours of wine. If you want to pay full price for your wine during happy hour, Tamiami Tap donates that money back to the Mote Aquarium for their Red Tide research.

Tamiami Tap has live music on Fridays and Saturdays from 7 - 10 PM. Mondays are closed but available for private events, Open Mic on Tuesdays from 7 - 10 PM, Trivia on Wednesdays from 7 - 9 PM. On Sundays, they have brunch from 11 - 3 PM with $15 Bottomless Mimosas and Bloody Mary Bar. On top of this, they do seasonal rotations of beers with all of the local breweries. With their big screen TV on their patio, not only do they air national and televised games, but they will be incorporating a Sunday Movie Night with drink and food specials, screening classic movies everyone knows and loves.

“We really wanted people to walk in here and not have to overthink things. They can kickback and order a drink that they know they are going to love in an atmosphere where they feel comfortable and relaxed to have more than one. The music, atmosphere, drinks and food all come together to create that cool environment.” - Marc Epstein, Owner of Tamiami Tap.

Tamiami Tap is clearly the go-to local spot for plenty of reasons – but don’t take my word for it, head over and see for yourself!
