The 8th Annual Sarasota Cigar Box Guitar Festival will be held Saturday February 27th from 11am-5pm At Stottlemyer’s Smokehouse In Sarasota. The 2020 festival was a incredible success and this year promises to be a great time. Both Dovydas And Steve Arvey have been recognized internationally on Youtube with a combined 70 Million views. Steve has performed at Cigar Box Guitar Festivals all over the world. Dovydas who moved to Sarasota Florida in 2012 is known all over world from his unique style of playing Cigar Box Guitars, Bowling Pin Guitars and Shovel Guitars. Stumpy Joe will be coming down from Central Illinois with his legendary One String Canoe Paddle Bass and great originals. He will also be performing with The Florida Rail Riders. The Riders are comprised of Deacon Gibson Harmonica, Washboard Betty and Steve Arvey. Local favorite Rebecca Bird will be singing her incredible arrangement of Zak Williams Their Was Jesus and other songs. Cigar Box Guitar Builders will be on hand selling instruments. This promises to be a fantastic afternoon of music and art. The best thing is that this will be a free event. Yes no admission fee.
