Sailor Circus Academy Presents Big Top Holidays!

Christmas might be over, but don’t let that joyful spirit leave your home quite yet. Bring the entire family out to this annual event that keeps the magic and wonder around for just a little while longer. Throughout this weekend, Nathan Benderson Park is hosting the big top where you can see acrobats, jugglers, and many other young performers.

Beers & Beats! Weekly Thursday Drum Circle

Big Top Brewing Company in Sarasota invites all local musicians who enjoy beating on a drum to come out for a night of music and fun December 27 and 28. Bring whatever drum you play and sit around the fire pits for free. All you need to attend this event is a little bit of rhythm!

29th Annual Pinecraft Volleyball Tournament

Beginning December 28 at 8 a.m., Sarasota sports fans are welcome to come out to Pompano Avenue to watch teams battle it out on the volleyball court. The event is free for spectators and will offer food, drinks, and ice cream for purchase throughout the tournament.

Goodbye 2018

Get some closure with other Sarasota locals as you say goodbye to this past year. From 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on December 28, there will be brunch and Yoga at The Westin Sarasota. The cost for this event is $35 and includes the use of yoga mats and towels, food, and drinks. Brunch will be on the roof. Yoga begins at 9 a.m. in the Triton Ballroom.

Hot New Talent Olivia Frances - Debut Performance in Sarasota

Head out to The Reserve SRQ this weekend on December 29 from 7:30-9:30 p.m. to experience live entertainment from an up-and-coming musician and hear Olivia Frances sing songs she wrote herself. Enjoy the pop-folk stylings of this Ohio native, and welcome her as she performs in her Sarasota debut.

New Year’s Eve Eve Bash with Resinated, El Dub, Summer Survivors

If you’re over this year and ready to see what 2019 has in store for you, you can start your celebrating early at this event. Join other locals at Sarasota Sky on December 30 beginning at 8:00 p.m. With live music and dancing, this is the perfect event to close out 2018.
