The Tidewell Turkey Trot 5K is a Running race in Sarasota, Florida consisting of a 5K.
Join us for our Thanksgiving-themed 5K run in Lakewood Ranch. The stroller and pet-friendly run proceeds eastbound on Rangeland Parkway onto White Eagle Boulevard to Malachite Drive and U-turns back. Plenty of turkey-themed volunteers, turkey water stop and turkey music will shepherd the runners along. Chip timing by Lakeshore Athletic Services (providers for the Chicago Marathon), then a great after party and awards ceremony.
Great Awards: M/F overall winners receive a Fit2Run gift certificate and custom engraved 6 award tile. M/F Master, Grand Master, Sr. Grand Master and Veteran receive 6 engraved award tile and gift certificate. Age group category 4 award tiles three deep to 9 & under, 10-14, and five-year age groups to 80+.
All participants receive a moisture-wicking Leslie Jordan shirt including children.
