Red Bull Flugtag Tampa is set to take flight Saturday, November 9 at the Tampa Convention Center in front of an expected crowd of 80,000 spectators. The last time the city of Tampa hosted the event was 13 years ago in 2011.
Event Details
Over 30 teams from Tampa and beyond will be judged on the creativity of their craft design, performance, and the distance of their flight. Notable teams include two-time Red Bull Flugtag Tampa winners, Fantastic Flying Legends of Wrestling, former NFL players Chris Long and Beau Allen’s team Put a Wing on It, and much more.
Judges will include Andrei Vasilevskiy (Goaltender for the Tampa Bay Lightning); Derrick Brooks (Hall of Fame Tampa Bay Buccaneer); Turner ‘Tfue’ Tenney (Professional gamer and streamer); Caroline Marks (Gold medalist and World Champion pro surfer); and Twan Kuyper (YouTuber and content creator).
