The Greater Tampa Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated invites your participation in our fourth annual Tutus and Tennis Shoes: Elevating ALL Children 5K Run/Walk and Health Fair, to be held February 4, 2023. This health and wellness event includes a scenic 5K route in historic downtown Tampa, a Children’s Fun Run, and a Health Fair. All registered participants will receive a race t-shirt and Finisher’s Medal as quantity lasts.

This health and wellness event includes a scenic 5K route in historic downtown Tampa, a Children’s Fun Run, and a Health Fair. The 3.1-mile run starts and ends within Perry Harvey Park. Along the route there will be fun surprises, music, food trucks, health screenings, vendors, and fun-filled activities for the whole family.

The Tutus and Tennis Shoes Health Fair is an integral part of the event and is intended to provide community information and resources on living. The Health Fair will include presentations by health professionals on various topics, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, sickle cell, mental health, self-esteem for girls, and dental hygiene.

This event will promote healthy living for families and children in the Tampa Bay community. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Jack and Jill of America Foundation, our national organization’s philanthropic arm, which provides donations to national non-profit partners and also awards grants to its chapters. The remaining proceeds will be directly donated to Tampa-based charities that serve children and families.
