But although Madonna is what most people remember about Desperately Seeking Susan, there’s a lot more here to like. It showcases early performances from John Turturro, Steven Wright, Laurie Metcalf and a ton of cameos from big figures in the underground NYC music scene of the time like Richard Hell and Rockets Redglare.
