THE 2020 TURKEY TROT FOR THE TWIG
We are bringing the Turkey Trot for the Twig to you Virtually due to the restrictions on events in the City of Venice! You can run Virtually Anywhere with Virtually Anyone (please adhere to the latest guidelines and recommendations for safe gatherings if you're actually gathering together to participate virtually) and Virtually Anytime (results can be reported and RaceJoy will be available between November 14th and November 30th) Watch for information on how you could qualify to win some great prizes sharing and showing your Turkey Trot spirit.
DESCRIPTION
It's all about the Kids!! A Virtual Turkey Trot for the Twig with all custom Turkey Trot themed race swag. The event is to benefit children in the foster care system and the programs of The Twig Cares, produced by Team Twig.
Results can be submitted between November 14th and November 30th to give you plenty of time to do it solo or gather friends and family virtually and do your own Turkey Trot. Do it early, the traditional Twig Turkey Trot date of 11/21, on Thanksgiving morning, or even over the Thanksgiving weekend to work off the extra gravy and pumpkin pie.
Your race swag includes:
Custom Twig Turkey Trot finisher medals for ALL! Custom Race Bib. And a Custom Race Shirt (new option for ladies-upgrade to a racer-back style shirt for just $5 more).
Registration available through Thanksgiving Weekend (closes November 29th) and you race swag will be shipped approximately 5-6 weeks after the Thanksgiving weekend (about mid-January) An opportunity to pick up your race swag (still expect mid-January) will be announced.
To guarantee you get your Custom Race Bib BEFORE your Turkey Trot for the Twig, register by October 20th and we'll mail your race bib to to arrive around November 10th. (Race bib only, shirt and medal will still be shipped later-see above time frame)
