With Christmas just around the corner, and all of the horrible Petland news in the last month alone, we want to create awareness for those people that are just unaware of the Horrors of Petland and their puppy mill dogs.
Event Details
Unlike other holiday presents, people will go just before Christmas to purchase their puppies, so we need to be there to let them know the truth. Please help me to create this awareness, as I am hoping for a turnout large enough that we could be at both entrances to the shopping center. We have hundreds of puppies and dogs and this County alone looking for their forever home, and as you know so many puppies purchased for Christmas end up not long after in our shelters.

Not evenayearago, the Humane Society had an undercover worker at the Sarasota Petland, owned by Brad Parker. They found dead animals in the freezer, a dead puppy in a trash bag, and sick and ailing puppies everywhere. They have also found the same at Parker's other location in Kennesaw, Georgia. The Humane Society has previously shut down the puppy mill that Parker uses for both locations, and has fined them too many times to count. These animals have no voice, so we must speak for them. Please join us to do just that. I will post numerous articles on the event page about these investigations so that you can see for yourself the horrors that these poor defenseless animals endure at Parker's (and other) locations.
