Savor local flavor during the SunCoast’s premier Food and Wine and Festival. Forks & Corks will showcase the palate-pleasing products of an international cast of visiting winery owners and winemakers alongside the deliciously diverse cuisine of The Sarasota-Manatee Originals restaurants.
The Sarasota-Manatee Originals are a collaborative of independently owned restaurants and culinary innovators committed to uniting the energies of local restaurants and celebrating the food that’s indigenous to our Gulf-coastal lifestyle. Forks & Corks is the organization’s largest annual community event and fundraiser.
We are excited to announce that the 2021 Forks & Corks Food and Wine Festival will take place from Thursday, April 29 through Monday, May 3, 2021. It is with an abundance of caution that our organization and Member Restaurants decided to postpone the 14th annual event from January to May.
A bright spot we have found during the pandemic is the creativity it has inspired, in terms of reimagining and pivoting events and celebrations. Although we are unsure at this time what the exact schedule of events will look like, we are confident that we will be able to bring the long-awaited Forks & Corks to the community through a variety of safe in-person and virtual events in late Spring.
Our Member Restaurants, among so many others, have felt the inconceivable impact of the current climate of our world.
