If you’ve ever wanted to experience Joyland but are intimidated by the masterful line dancing, then don’t miss the line dance lessons on November 22 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. For just $10, Instructor Rose Prim will teach you three to four different line dances. On November 23, Venice MainStreet, Inc. will host more than 100 artists. Creative works such as photography, jewelry, sculptures, paintings, and more will be displayed up and down West Venice Avenue. Looking for a new way to enjoy tacos and beer? Head out to Nathan Benderson Park on November 23 from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. Featuring more than 15 food vender from the community, you’ll be able to purchase different types of tacos, craft beers, and sample various cocktails and tequilas.
For the 28th year, Main Street At Lakewood Ranch is hosting its charity car show. If you have any kind of Ford-powered car or truck, you can register to show for other people to appreciate too. If you don’t want to show, just come out to enjoy the vehicles. All proceeds for this event will benefit the Take Stock in Children and Southeastern Guide Dogs charities.
