Grand Prix FUN RUN

Whether you have a watercraft or just have an interest in the beautiful boats moving along the Sarasota coast, this is a great event to attend. As part of the 35th Annual Sarasota Powerboat Grand Prix Festival, this fun run is open all types of personal watercraft including powerboats, jet skis, and leisure vessels. Register your vehicle between 10 and 11 a.m. at Marina Jack on June 30. Live music will be playing throughout the event, and a raffle will also be held before the end of the day. Money collected will benefit Suncoast Charities for Children.

Elvis Jailhouse Ballroom Revival!

Few performers are as famous or as timeless as Elvis Presley. It wasn’t just about the music. It was about the show. On June 30 from 7 to 9 p.m., Manatee Performing Arts Center will offer the Sarasota and Bradenton communities the chance to go on a time-traveling adventure through the generation of Elvis including music and choreographed dance.  Tickets are just $25!

2nd Annual Barstool Open

Have you always dreamed about being a professional golfer, but most of your experiences golf takes place on themed courses where your ball never has to leave the ground? Venice is hosting the perfect event for you on June 29. Beginning at 12 p.m., Venice MainStreet, Inc.. will hold the 2nd Annual Barstool Open. Put on your best golf ensemble, and join a team of four to putt the day away. Tickets are $20 and include two complimentary beer vouchers. This is an adult only event, and you must be over 21 years old to participate.

Pre-Independence Day Community Cookout

Celebrate Independence Day a little early at Pride Park in Bradenton. On June 29 beginning at 11 a.m., take your entire family out to the park for a free day afternoon of family fun and barbecue. Enjoy the nearby splash pad, some delicious food, and activities that your whole family will enjoy. The event ends at 2 p.m.

Justin Layman at Daiquri Deck Siesta Key Village

Daiquiri Deck | Siesta Key Village is a Siesta Key favorite that welcomes locals and visitors alike. This restaurant welcomes Justin Layman in to entertain its patrons on June 29 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. With a wide range of Folk, Rock, and R&B, there’s sure to be music that gets your feet tapping. Don’t forget to try something from the menu or the raw bar while you’re listening.

Each day this weekend beginning at 10 a.m., you will have the opportunity to go to Sarasota’s Carlisle Inn for a one-stop-shop for your beauty supplies.
