Ringling Underground November 2019

The Ringling will host an incredible one-night-only event on November 7 from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. This event unites multiple genres of live music and artwork to create a full experience for attendees. A cash bar by Modern Events Catering will be open to those over 21 years of age. Tickets are just $15 for adults and $5 for children six years old and up. Free entry is available to children under five years, college students with a valid college ID, and museum members.

Operation Gratitude presented by Central West Coast Chapter of Florida Public Relations Association

If the game Operation brings back heartwarming childhood memories for you, you won’t want to miss this event. On November 8 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., The Courtyard of The Bazaar on Apricot & Lime will welcome John Spinello, inventor of the Operation game. You’ll get the opportunity to meet him, learn about his life and the trials to bring Operation into existence, and enjoy cocktails, a silent auction, and more! Come back Saturday with the kids from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. to play games, get a picture with Mr. Spinello, and participate in other surprises. Signed copies of Operation will be available for sale.

RATTLEBONE ROCK FEST - Chris Anderson, RJ Howson, Mike Kach, Rattlebone

Get ready to rock at Sarasota Sky Bar & Club. From 8:00 to 11:30 p.m. on November 8, head out to one of Sarasota’s favorite clubs for a night of live music. With great musicians, including Chris Anderson and Rattlebone, you won’t be able to keep from dancing. Don’t miss the third set where all the musicians will join together for a collaborative jam session!

Sarasota Medieval Fair - 2019 Sarasota goes back in time this weekend for the medieval fair. Opening on November 9 at 10:00 a.m. at the Sarasota Fairgrounds, this event is great for the entire family. With tournaments, food, costumes and more, the whole family will have fun celebrating history together. There will be so much to see including knights, jesters, belly dancers, and sword swingers. Rides and games will be available throughout the fair.

Harvest Fall Festival

If you are looking for a fun and free event to take the family to this weekend, head out to The Harvest Sarasota for the fall festival on November 9. From 3:00 to 6:30 p.m., bounce houses, face painting, and so much more will be available for the kids to enjoy. Professional, family-friendly entertainment will be provided as you connect with other members of the Sarasota community.

PorchfesT 2019 On November 10 from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., Hyde Park Street will change from a quiet neighborhood to a celebration of music and community. Front porches will become stages for musicians, and yards become stadiums and dance floors. With 20 porches welcoming 40 musicians, you won’t find a better place to experience this much music is a single day!

Santa Paws

Pets are family too, and this weekend your furry family members will be able to participate in a Christmas event. Bring out your dogs and cats to meet Santa at The Mall at University Town Center on November 10. From 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., you’ll be able to get pictures of your furbabies with Santa so that every member of the family can have Christmas fun!
