Annual Turkey Trot 2019

The Hyatt Regency Sarasota Hyatt Regency Sarasota will kick off their turkey-trot at 7:00 a.m. on November 28. This is a 5K trail that crosses the Ringling Causeway Bridge. You have the opportunity to participate in the race, the fun run, or simply enjoy a walk. Proceeds from the registrations will go to support youth in the local communities.

Want to make some memories with your family on November 28? Head out to Manasota Beach from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a wonderful experience for the whole family. With stories, demonstrations, and exploration, children and adults of all ages will love this very special beach day.

Kid's Night Out

It isn’t always easy to find some time alone during the holiday season. Let Arts A Blaze Studio help! Every Friday beginning at 6:00 p.m. on November 29, you can drop off the kids where they will be entertained with art and crafting. Pick-up is 8:00 p.m. Cost is $30 per child.

Beer Garden Bazaar: Monthly Night Market

On November 29, get out of the house and enjoy some time with the family at Motorworks Brewing. Eat, drink, and shop under the moonlight where local vendors will feature their handmade unique items that always make great gifts. Live music will start at 7:00 p.m. Bring the entire family, including the furbabies, to this event.

Deck the Halls: A Holly Jolly Holiday

If you’ve already started singing Christmas songs and decorating, this event is for you! From 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on November 30, Bowne Lab at Florida Studio Theatre will put on a show to welcome Christmas to Sarasota. With sketches, songs, and more, you’ll get to experience the holidays Florida style!

Santa Jaws at Mote Aquarium!

You know about Santa Claus, but have you met Santa Jaws? Head over to Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium on November 30 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. for a bit of family fun and a lot of Christmas spirit. Mote Marine mascot, Gilly the Shark, will be all dressed up in her Christmas gear. Can’t make it this weekend? Don’t worry. She’ll make another appearance in December.

Holiday Gift Expo & Cookie Fest

Christmas is coming early to the Bradenton Area Convention Center. Join other locals for an incredible day of celebration, competition, and shopping on December 1 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The gift expo is free to enter and will include more than 100 local artists and crafters. Special holiday characters will be there too! You can also choose to participate in the ugly sweater contest or the cookie fest.

Escape Reality

If you want to do something different this year for the holidays, check out Escape Reality to have a whole new experience! They are offering high-end virtual reality gaming, retro arcade, and plenty of unique live-escape games. There are 2 locations in Sarasota: one located on the North Lockwood Ridge, and the other located in downtown Sarasota. A place with chill atmosphere to visit with friends and family, and many fun games!
