Are you a seafood lover? Are the seas, oceans, bays of Tampa as full of delicious as they are beautiful for you? This weekend the first-ever Tampa Bay Seafood and Music Festival will be taking over Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park this weekend! On April 21 and 22nd, the Downtown Tampa riverfront will smell like a hot summer day in New England with the variety of seafood they will have for you to try.

This event is being thrown by Paragon Festivals and will be a fusion of seafood, live music and visual entertainment. If you are attending you'll be able to eat fresh seafood from the Florida waters cooked on site at Curtis Hixon Park. The festival is promising is mahi-mahi, stone crabs, shrimp and grouper among the aquatic treats available, and are proud to be catching local and sustainable fish from the Tampa Bay area for this event. But if you don’t like seafood or are a vegetarian, they have plenty of options for you too! Side dishes and drinks will be served alongside whatever you choose to devour.

While sipping on your cocktail or diving face first into your plate of snow crab legs, enjoy the live music and relax. Artists from both the local and regional circuit will be performing their creative and visual shows live. All different genres of music will be performed from soul ad classic rock to R&B and Caribbean music, no matter what you like you’ll hear it at the Tampa Bay Seafood and Music Festival. Headliners include RJ Howson and Act 3. Other performers attending include the Sarasota Steel Pan Band, Reverend Barry & The Funk, Twinkle & Rock Soul Radio, Kettle of Fish, the Greg Billings Band and The Black Honkeys Band.

You can purchase tickets at the door for $7 or online prior to the event for $5, and children under 12 are admitted for free.

If you’re looking for the VIP experience, tickets are online for $130. But that includes a raw bar and an open bar from premium drinks. It also includes admission to the private tent with optimum views of the concerts. The Tampa Bay Seafood and Music Festival is both Saturday and Sunday from 11am-8pm.
