27th Annual Hunsader Farms Pumpkin Festival  

October 13-14, 20-21 and 27-28  

10 AM – 5 PM

Craft show, live music, 14 live shows, pumpkins, charity pumpkin games, Pioneer Trades Village, hayrides, pony rides, chainsaw sculptor, corn maze, scarecrow displays, homemade ice cream, farm roasted sweet corn, rock climbing wall, power jump, petting zoo, barnyard playground, face painting, juggler and more!

Howl-O-Ween Movie Night and Costume Parade

Saturday, October 13 

5 PM – 9 PM

Come out and enjoy big league family fun! The costume parade begins at 5 p.m. in the outfield! Bring a blanket to enjoy the movie on the outfield or watch from stadium seating. No coolers or outside food allowed, except for sealed water bottles. Concessions are available. No strollers, lawn chairs or high heels on the field. Admission is a non-perishable food item donation to All Faiths Food Pantry. It's the perfect event for some kid-friendly Halloween fun in Sarasota!

30th Annual Fruitville Grove Pumpkin Festival

October 6 - 20

10 AM - 5 PM 

Every Weekend in October! Admission, parking, petting zoo, playground, music and photo opportunities are all FREE! Rides and games, like the pony rides, bounce house, and pumpkin painting are all available for purchase.

Night of Fish, Fun & Fright at the Mote Aquarium 

Saturday, October 20th

6 PM -  8:30 PM

Dress up and enjoy safe and fun trick-or-treating as well as some underwater pumpkin carving in the shark tank!

Gamble Mansion Halloween Candlelight Tour

Saturday, October 13 

7 – 9  PM 

Enjoy decorated themed rooms and hear the history of Halloween. Be prepared to receive treats at the end of the spooky tour! Tickets are $6.00 cash or check, children 5 and under are free.

BooFest at Lakewood Ranch Main Street

Friday, October 26

6 PM – 9 PM 

Check out BooFest, Main Street's Annual Halloween BLAST for all ages! Children should bring their trick or treat bags to collect treats from sponsors and merchants. Music will be playing in the background and children of all ages will have a HOWLING good time! Dress in your best costume 

Dog-a-Ween Pet Costume Parade

Saturday, October 28th

9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

The annual doggie and kitty Sarasota family-friendly Halloween festival will, of course, include our fun-for-the-entire-family costume event, but this year, there will be so much more! Registration at 9:30 and parade at 10:15. Cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

Pumpkin Patch Express at the Florida Railroad Museum 

October 21st, 28th & 29th

Spooktacular at Selby Gardens

10 AM – 12 PM

The Family-friendly Halloween event is open to the public! The daytime activities will include traditional, wholesome Halloween happenings like trick-or-treating and pumpkin decorating, fun and educational activities like seed planting, as well as more friendly and frightening options for older children like a mad scientist experiment center.
