The Ringling in Sarasota has hosted tremendous events over the years that befit the legacy of circus innovator John Ringling and his wife, Mable. In that same vein, a unique brunch experience awaits this Saturday, April 28 on the property at Bayfront Gardens.

Mable's Rose Garden is the site of the annual "Blossoms & Brunch: A Floral Affair," beginning at 10:30 a.m. The garden was originally completed in 1913 and features over 27,000 square feet of true beauty.

With Mable's roses in full bloom, the brunch makes for the perfect springtime activity for families and couples alike. Spring cleaning and the annual cutback of roses at the garden began in February, which assures that the scenery is at its best this weekend and throughout the spring.

Upon arrival, guests will be treated to a reception featuring live music and mimosas. Attendees are sure to particularly be impressed by some of the brunch beverages being offered like the hibiscus-rose mimosas and Mable's rose rooibos tea.

There will also be desserts scattered throughout the garden for diners to discover, and the seated brunch begins at 11:30 a.m

Some other brunch features include a live silent auction and floral photo sessions. Tickets are $120, and the deadline to purchase seats is Wednesday.

Proceeds from the auction and brunch benefit ongoing maintenance and improvement efforts at The Ringling's Bayfront Gardens.
