These Christmas events in Sarasota are filled with holiday fun that will carry through all of December.
On December 8 at 6 p.m., the Bay of Sarasota will be filled with lights and music from boats of all shapes and sizes in the Annual Sarasota Holiday Boat Parade of Lights. A favorite event for both locals and visitors, this will be the 33rd year for this parade. There are four locations to best see this spectacle of lights: Marina Jack's Restaurant, Bayfront Park, City Island, and Centennial Park. Most boats will have festive music playing, and some may even have live music, so be on the lookout. You might also see Santa make an appearance!

If you love Christmas Music, then you'll definitely want to be at First Baptist Church of Sarasota on December 8 at 6 p.m. when they will have a "living Christmas tree" filled with 130 voices singing all of your Christmas favorites accompanied by an orchestra. This 90-minute performance is popular, so book your tickets now!
You'll find one of the most festive runs in Sarasota at Nathan Benderson Park on December 8 at 6 p.m. You can walk or run this 5K route, but you’ll want to take some time to enjoy the atmosphere. With music, Christmas lights, and all sorts of holiday decorations lining the trail, you’ll be immersed in a Christmas wonderland that includes snow at the finish line.
