Permanently Closed.. The Davis Islands Swimming Pool, also known as Roy E. Jenkins Pool, is a historic swimming pool on Davis Island that is part of the City of Tampa Parks and Recreation. The Davis Island Pool is a "Roman Pool" that was constructed in 1929 and is one of the only original amenities that remains on Davis Island.
