One of my south tampa claims to fame (in my mind) is that I grew up next to Mr. and Mrs. Woods who owned the Dairy Joy. I could walk less than a block from my house and get a tasty cone, sprite float or thick milkshake. All these years later, the wood's relatives have kept this south tampa treasure going strong with the same great authentic tastes that I remember from my childhood. Support this local mainstay....even a rainy day is better with a dairy joy!!!
