Cafe Kili has been one of my favorite coffee shops in Tampa Bay since I first step foot in it a few years back. The interior is decorated with African-decor and a homage to U.S. military - the owners son was a member of the military. The owners and employees are extremely friendly here, if you don't know what to order they are always happy to help steer you in the right direction. They offer USF student discounts and the place is pretty quiet throughout the day, which makes it a good study spot. After having coffee here, I find it difficult to spend more money at Starbucks - which just does not have the fresh coffee bean taste that Cafe Kili does. The soups here are also excellent - make sure you try their Shrimp Corn Bisque...excellent. The crowd is mostly elderly people and businessmen and women, so if you're looking to hangout with college students you might want to check out Felicitous up Fowler. Cafe Kili also offers live music on different nights as well. Free Wi-Fi works fast too! Overall a great cafe and one of my favorite spots in town for a cup of joe.
