Hands down the best bar scene in downtown. Franklin Manor has amazing cocktails, service, entertainment and the best location. Carpool or Uber since it's still downtown and parking can be a little iffy.
Franklin Manor is a great place to bring your friends when they visit Tampa! It's right in the middle of the city and has great food and drinks!
Every time I visit Tampa I make a point to do Happy Hour at Franklin Manor. Outdoor seating, a full bar, and the head-sized pretzel is a must. Crisp and flaky on the outside and soft in the center.
Owner is very racist and refers to black people as the n-word

Cool inside/outside bar that is a nice chill spot to meet up for happy hour drinks, business mixers, or to unwind on the weekends! Leave the flip-flops and t-shirts at home if you're coming here.

Probably the best bar in Downtown. Great live music, has a dance club on the inside and plenty of places to sit and hang out.
It's probably the best place in Downtown to have a drink or two with the cool kids. But that doesn't mean it's cheap. No t-shirts and slacker clothes here, so at least dress appropriately.
Pros: A fun crowd that's out to have a great time!
Cons: Drinks can get a bit pricey, and if you're driving parking can be a pain. Great place to Uber to/from however.
