Busy Country Club in Venice Florida looking for a qualified Server.
Job Summary:
Job Summary:
- A Server assists and performs all tasks associated with presetting, serving and breaking down rooms where food service activities are performed.
- Prepares high quality beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to order upon request.
- Take orders and serves members/guests according to Plantation Country Club Standards and all Local and State legal guidelines.
- Monitors members and their guests to ensure safety.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One + years experience as a Server in a country club, upscale hotel or free-standing lounge environment.
- Exceptional guest service skills.
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend and lift items weighing up to 50 pounds repetitively during entire shift.
- Ability to push, pull or otherwise move portable bar units from storage area to function areas.
- Ability to speak, read and understand the English language.
- Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holiday.
- Background Checks Required
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
- Certifications; "TIPS" or equivalent responsible vendor training, ServSafe training
