Martin Academy of Martial Arts is committed to excellence. There's not another school in Sarasota that can offer this wide range of martial arts, kung fu, self defense, JKD, kickboxing, jiu jitsu, and women's self defense with instructors who are certified with years of experience and not weekend certifications! That's why we're committed to providing the highest quality martial arts instruction and training in a positive encouraging environment. The foundation of this school has been built training mixed martial arts under some of the top martial artists in the world such as: Sifu /Guro Dan Inosanto, Sifu Francis Fong, Master Chai Sirisute, Erik Paulson, the late Herman Suwanda, Machado Brothers, the Pedro Sauer Association and the many others with whom Chief Instructor Lavonne Martin has trained.
