A Parisian-Inspired Outdoor Marketplace - Saturday, November 9, 2019 in Five Points Park, Downtown Sarasota.

Five Points Park once again will be transformed into a open-air marketplace featuring eclectic, chic, salvaged, coastal, re-purposed, vintage and epicurean “treats, treasures and art” when Le Marché Bohémien arrives downtown Sarasota on Saturday, November 9.
Sponsored by the Sarasota Downtown Enrichment Association (SDEA), this unique event for art aficionados and collectors, will be held rain or shine from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The theme of the one-day marketplace is re-imagining the world’s resources one artist at a time. Many of the artistic pieces that will be featured at Le Marché Bohémien have been made from re-purposed items.
The artists are exceptionally creative and have embraced the eco-inspired, recycling and repurposed theme of our event.
The marketplace also promises to be a vintage collector’s paradise, with offerings from a variety of artists who create wearable clothing and accessories that feature vintage photographs and who specialize in re-purposing vintage apparel.
Other artists that create or re-purpose furniture and home accessories using chalk paint and stencils in intricate designs also will be showcasing their work. From wall hangings crafted from stained glass and natural elements to sculpted work and intricate jewelry created from antique buttons, sterling silver and semi-precious stones, Le Marché Bohémien will have an array of one-of-a-kind pieces created by some of the region’s most talented artisans.
We have a truly interesting mixture of artists, and we are confident that attendees will find that there is something here for everyone. Lovely Parisian music will be playing throughout the day; French singer, Michelet Innocent will grace our stage; beverages will be available for purchase during the event.
Admission to Le Marché Bohémien is free.
Limited space is still available for regional artists interested in showcasing their work at Le Marché Bohémien. Booth fees are priced $100 for a 10 x 10-foot space, and $200 for a 10 x 20-foot space. Special Early Bird Pricing!
