Comedy returns to the Common Ground. This show will pit the YOUNG GUN COMICS against the OLD HANDS OF COMEDY. Six of this area's best stand up comedy acts will perform, giving it their very best. YOU DECIDE ON WHO IS THE BEST!

ABOUT THE ARTIST & SHOW:
THE OLD HANDS:
Bryan Hamilton: Bryan has opened for Jeff Foxworthy, Paula Poundstone, and Blue Oyster Cult and was a semi-finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and World Series of Comedy. He also won Port Charlotte's Visani's First Comic Standing 2018.
Danny Watkins: After opening for the likes of Kevin James and Tracy Morgan, and appearing in commercials and off-Broadway shows, Danny Watkins suffered a debilitating stroke in 2006. He fought his way back and returned to doing what he loves--making people laugh!
Kathy McSteen: The instigator and host of local “Women of Comedy” and the “Are You Experienced” comedy shows 2017-2019, Kathy had the honor of losing to Bryan Hamilton as a Visani's First Comic Standing finalist in 2018.
THE YOUNG GUNS:
J.J. Curry: Originally from Georgia, this Air Force veteran now lives in Tampa where he won Side Splitter's 2018 “Last Comic Stranded” contest.
Natasha Samreny: Natasha trained with The Second City in Chicago, performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, and Boston Comedy Arts Fest, improvises with and teaches at Florida Studio Theatre and performs with sketch group Millennial Fresh.
Josh Ulmaniec: Josh is a crowd favorite at Visani's where he performs regularly as a host. He made it through the America's Got Talent Tampa cattle call this December for two additional auditions. Come see him before he's California bound.
The Deputy: Logan Light is a SW Florida entertainer and magician who makes you laugh and wonder, “How'd he do that?” Catch his close-up magic dinner shows at Visani's and let him amaze you while we learn if you make the “Old Hands” or the “Young Guns” the winners at this comedy shootout.
Tickets are available here (online) for only $20. If you wait and try to buy them at the door, it will cost you $25, so it's best if you buy your tickets now.
As always, Common Grounds is a BYOB VENUE. That means, if you want a glass of wine or a bottle of beer, then you will need to bring it from home. We'll be happy to sell you bottled water and snacks.
And remember, while there may be a line, there is NEVER a charge to use our bathrooms. They are ALWAYS FREE!!!
