Event Details
September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and for this September's signature fundraising event, we are excited to present a unique, fun evening to remember: The Golden Ticket, benefiting The Benjamin Gilkey Fund for Innovative Pediatric Cancer Research.
Benjamin Gilkey was nine years old when he died from complications of leukemia. During his two years of treatment, he read nearly everything ever written by Roald Dahl, including one of his absolute favorites--Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It would be our honor if you would join us on Saturday, September 28th, as we transform Michael's on East into Willy Wonka's world of imagination, and raise money for innovative clinical trials at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital.
The event will feature an open bar, food stations for both sweet and savory delicacies alike, and an exclusive chocolate sponsorship by Banyan Tree Chocolate & Cafe. A stellar live auction presented by local youth actors will allow guests to win incredible experiences while further supporting research. All sorts of fun surprises await our guests! The evening will conclude with dancing and wonder and collective celebration as we strive to reach our fundraising goal.
