The 25 member organization is routinely broken down into smaller groups for church services (21 musicians at 7 different churches last Easter), retirement centers, private parties (weddings, memorial services, festivals, grand openings, even at the Sarasota Ski-a-Rees).
THE JACOBITES
The Jacobite mission statement is to spread the joy of Celtic performing arts which include: bagpipes, whistles, fiddles, voices, Scottish Highland dancing, Irish dancing, and percussion. These arts are woven together into spellbinding shows throughout Southwest Florida.
I SOLISTI de ONECO
I Solisti de Oneco translated is "The Soloists from Oneco."
This group is a woodwind Quintet that was founded in the 1970’s and includes founding member Dale Jensen. He is joined by clarinetist Amy Bradley, oboist Michelle Nicolette, bassoonist John Steinspring and French hornist Gary Reinstrom.
Together they formed a star in the musical crown of Sarasota.
