Description
Open to all ages: Make your own stress ball using balloons and various dry goods.
Event Details
An important part of childhood is being curious and trying out new experiences – learning about how things taste and sound and what they feel and smell like. Join us for our sensory play day Sept. 23 to tap into some of those senses; it’ll be a great learning experience. Some fancy finger-work may be required for this event, where kids (adults can enjoy, too!) will be making their own “stress ball.” Kids will fill balloons with different textured items (beads, various dry goods, sand, etc.) – the result is an interesting malleable toy. Draw faces on the balloons or added googly eyes for an extra special surprise. Kids will get to take home their textured balloon. This play day experience comes directly from “Recipe for Play,” by Rachel Sumner and Ruth Mitchener. Get 20% off the book at this event only.
