Event Details
Join us for our 10th Annual Take Stock in Children 5K and 1 Mile Mentor Walk or Kids' Fun races Sunday March 3rd at 8:00 am (Kid's event at 7:15 am) This is one of the largest 5K fields in the county. The event benefits Take Stock in Children of Manatee County, Inc. celebrating over 20 years of scholarships, mentors and hope!
There will be chip timing by Fit2Run, Colorful shirts, awards, plenty of food and beverages by local restaurants and family fun.
The 5K route is well marked with one water stop. The route proceeds on the north bound lane of LWR Blvd up to Balmoral and back to the finish.
You will then be treated to a huge after party with over 40 vendors on LWR Main street and best of all, all included in your registration.
As in past years, we'll be offering our SCHOLARSHIP CHALLENGE so that all schools with 300+ participants registered will be awarded a Take Stock Scholarship and Mentor for the qualifying student of their choice!

Day of registration and packet pickup commences at 6:00 am. There is plenty of parking in the north and south parking lots behind LWR Main street. There will be a parcel drop by the registration tables. (we will not be responsible for personal belongings).
