Her music is contemporary country that is highly influenced by pop and classic rock. Melissa’s captivating voice can be compared to Miranda Lambert & Natalie Maines (of the Dixie Chicks), however, the breathy tones and softness of her voice give her a unique sound that is distinctive from anyone else. Melissa’s songwriting is clever, witty, and thoughtful beyond her years.
She kicked off the new year with a sold out Album Release show at Kewadin Casino in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, and she has opened for many national acts such as Brothers Osborne, Cole Swindell, David Allan Coe, Josh Turner, William Michael Morgan, Jeff Carson, Tyler Farr, The Kentucky Headhunters, and Doug Supernaw.
She has also shared the stage with artists such as Charlie Daniels and Buddy Jewell. In 2016, Melissa sold out casinos as the only female singer in a “tribute to the Grand Ole Opry” show. She performed over 200 shows in 2015, and toured the country with “Girls With Guitars” in 2013-2014.
