Join us at Coquina Beach on Bradenton Beach the weekend of December 13-15, 2019 for the inaugural Coquina Beach Seafood & Music Festival, produced by Paragon Festivals with special guest The Humane Society of Sarasota County. The event will be fun, relaxation, great food and amazing live musical performances - along with some shopping for arts, crafts and fine products! Festivities start Friday evening from 4pm-10pm and continue through the weekend with hours on Saturday 11am-10pm and Sunday 11am-6pm.
Enjoy foods cooked fresh onsite (seafood, meat, vegetarian) with a variety of side dishes and of course - desserts! For drinks, choose from alcoholic, non-alcoholic and fruit drinks. Note that seafood dishes are prepared using sustainable ocean resources from the Florida Gulf Coast.
While eating, listen to the captivating sounds of live musical performances on stage by some of Florida’s and the region’s top musical talents from such genres as R&B, jazz, rock, reggae and Caribbean sounds. Come listen on Friday evening to: The Whole Band featuring Callie Chappell (Americana, rock, variety), RJ Howson (R&B, blues, rock) and Big Night Out (dance, rock, alternative). Return on Saturday to listen to: Jack’d Up (rock, pop, dance), Kettle of Fish (rock, blues, reggae), Dr. Dave Band (class rock, country, bluegrass), The Verge (classic rock 70’s to present) and Fleetwood Max (Fleetwood Mac Tribute Band). On Sunday enjoy: West Coast Steel Pan Band (jazz, Caribbean), Billy Rice Band (country rock) and Black Honkeys (rock, soul).
The Humane Society will have their "Big Mac" mobile adoption center onsite during the event. Call ahead (727-542-3000) to confirm hours the Big Mac will be onsite. Please take a few moments to stop by and say “Hi” to the dedicated staff and meet their extended family of friends awaiting adoption. Lend support to a wonderful and compassionate organization and perhaps find a new loving and devoted Life companion.
