For the 13th year, Sarasota Jungle Gardens will host its Holiday Lights Spectacular celebration. The traditional, family friendly event offers a myriad of joy-filled activities such as strolling down “Candy Cane Lane”, roasting s’mores and hot dogs, and many more holiday activities. Santa will be on hand to take treasured family photos.
Live entertainment takes place in the bird pavilion twice each evening at 7 and 8 p.m. Magician/comedian Nathan Coe Marsh and other entertainers return again this year to delight audiences of all ages.
A special holiday dinner menu features spiral ham, chicken and pasta, meatballs, sweet potato casserole, macaroni and cheese and sweet corn at a cost of $7.95 for the choice of one entrée and two sides. Child-sized meals (one entrée and one side) also are available for $5.95.
