Palmetto's Christmas in the Park

This free community event offers something for everyone: enjoy creatively decorated buildings, kids’ crafts, Reindeer Games, an “Honor Tree” in the Military Museum, recipes to collect in each of the park buildings, contests for prizes, a petting corral, and entertainment. Kids can write a letter to Santa at our 1880 Post Office, and they will get a letter in response from Santa a few days later! Early Learning Coalition will be conducting a book give-away. A SNOW HILL will also be on hand for children to slide down! Santa Claus will be arriving at 4:00. Bring your own camera for a photo with Santa. Santa will be collecting donations for the North River Fire Fighters Organization, please consider giving a contribution. Food vendors on the premises include Word of Mouth BBQ, Impact Community Church, and Kona Ice. Alex’s Lemonade Stand will be raising funds for children’s cancer research and the Sweet Shop will raise funds for family programming.
