Event Details
As in years past, the celebratory fun takes place at Lamb & Sutton Park. Part of the Palmetto 4th of July Festival fun will be a free concert. 2014's special guest will be American Idol and country singer Scottie McCreery who will appear about 7 p.m. at the new Sutton Park Pavilion
Fireworks light up the sky over the Manatee River after dark, about 9:30 p.m. Free admission. Free and paid parking around the area.
